NPCC Honours Council Secretary, Mr. Patrick Ezedimbu, at Retirement Reception

The Nigerian Ports Consultative Council (NPCC) on 30th June 2026 hosted a heartfelt retirement reception in honour of its Council Secretary, Mr. Patrick Ezedimbu, in recognition of his years of dedicated and exemplary service to the Council and Nigeria’s maritime industry.

Mr. Ezedimbu, who was seconded to the NPCC from the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), served with commitment, providing administrative leadership, professionalism, and institutional guidance that significantly contributed to the Council’s growth and effectiveness. Throughout his tenure, he played a pivotal role in coordinating the Council’s activities, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and supporting the successful implementation of numerous initiatives aimed at advancing Nigeria’s ports and maritime sector.

The retirement reception brought together members of the NPCC Board of Trustees, Council members, representatives of government agencies, maritime stakeholders, industry partners, colleagues, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate a remarkable career dedicated to service, integrity, and excellence.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Consultative Council, Mr. Bolaji Sunmola, paid tribute to Mr. Ezedimbu’s commitment, diligence, and invaluable contributions to the Council.

The ceremony featured goodwill messages from colleagues and stakeholders, presentation of commemorative gifts, and moments of reflection on Mr. Ezedimbu’s service and achievements.
