NPCC Celebrates Mrs. Blessing Ngozi Osakwe-Ogo (JP), FCA, on Her Historic Investiture as 12th National Chairperson of SWAN
The Nigerian Ports Consultative Council (NPCC) excitedly joined the celebration as Mrs. Blessing Ngozi Osakwe-Ogo (JP), FCA was formally invested as the 12th National Chairperson of the Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN) on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

The event also marked the inauguration of a new Executive Council that will steer the affairs of the Society from 2025 to 2027, continuing SWAN’s mission of strengthening professional excellence in accountancy. Notably, the oath of office was administered by Chief (Mrs.) Jean Chiazor Anishere, SAN, Vice Chairperson of NPCC, adding a distinguished touch to the solemn proceedings.

The NPCC delegation was led by its Chairman, Mr. Bolaji Sunmola, alongside Chief (Mrs.) Jean Chiazor Anishere, SAN (Vice Chairperson), Mrs. Ifeyinwa Akerele (Chairperson, Finance and General-Purpose Committee), and Chief Basil Opara (Office of the Chairman). Their presence underscored the Council’s deep appreciation of Mrs. Osakwe-Ogo’s achievement—not only as a national figure in the accounting profession but also as a valued member of the NPCC.

Mrs. Osakwe-Ogo, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Justice of the Peace, is widely admired for her professionalism, integrity, and dedication. Within NPCC, she serves as Vice Chairperson of the Finance and General-Purpose Committee, where her expertise and leadership continue to strengthen transparency and governance within the Council.

The NPCC congratulates Mrs. Osakwe-Ogo on this remarkable milestone and extends its best wishes to her and her newly sworn-in Executive Council. Her ascension to this role is not only a personal triumph but also a beacon of inspiration—showing how women leaders can make enduring contributions across multiple sectors, from finance to maritime development.
